1. High screening efficiency: As the pulp enters the screen basket tangentially with high pressure and by centrifugal force, the fibres and coarse impurities are separated before the pulp enters the screen basket. Qualified fibres pass through the screen basket quickly by the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet.

2. Long service life: As the pulp enters the pressure screen, the heavy impurities of the pulp have been separated by centrifugal action, so the impact and wear of the impurities on the rotor blades and the screen basket are reduced. It prolongs the service life of the screen basket.
3. Screening pulp without clogging: Pulp is evenly screened from top to bottom without thickening. Impurities away from the drum, the drum is not easy to clog.
4. Good quality of pulp: The screen basket is made of stainless steel, owning fine screen slits, so that the removal rate of harmful impurities in the pulp is greatly improved.
There are two types of screen baskets: slotted basket screens and drilled basket screens.
The drilled basket screen has holes and is typically used for screening coarse slurry.
The slotted basket screen consists of welded bars that form slits. This type of screen basket is mainly used for screening fine slurry.
